eyes are windows in2 the soul

You can learn a lot about someone you barely know by looking in their eyes. that’s where they usually give it away.

I realized subconsciously that whenever i meet someone, and i look into their eyes, i feel like i gain a lot of insight, a lot of the time you can see their soul, in only a few seconds of deep gazing. And most of the time there’s saddness, even if their constantly smiling and their actions contradict that. I almost get a vision, an image in my mind of their possible past struggles, like immersing myself in their hardships and feeling the pain they’ve felt. I’ve realized this characteristic about me is why i become so emotionally invested in people, even those i may not be very “close” to. Because in a way we all are the same, we’ve all been hurt and we just want to love and trust each other.
